Explore, Act, and Transform
Hello! I'm Garrett Graves MS, LMHC. I have experience and training in working with adults, teens, and children to process a variety of areas such as trauma, anxiety, depression, autism, attachment complications, SOGI related struggles, managing anger, parenting difficulties, and more. In my work with individuals, kids, and families we imagine how life can be different and collaboratively explore how to move forward. I believe in the power of encouragement and the importance of truth.
I am an integrative practitioner specializing in play therapy techniques, sand tray techniques, and expressive arts interventions. I also know that for some feelings can seem daunting or overwhelming and I utilize cognitive modalities or traditional "talk therapy" as well. My priority is meeting people where they are and my passion is to connect with those who are stuck or struggling and to chart new ways of being. I teach at Stetson University in the Graduate Counselor Education Program where I help young therapists learn how to connect with their clients not just through words but also through expressive arts, play, music, and more.
